Announcing, your 2017 Artaxis/National Clay Week Conversations artists! This year's event will be titled "Artaxis Conversations: 24 artists, 16 countries, 12 hours." The final schedule, a form to submit your questions, along with links to where and how to participate in the conversations LIVE on Tuesday, October 10, starting at 10am Eastern Time, can be found at Artaxis.org/Conversations. Monday- Using Handmade with the Crafted Dish- Canadian Ceramics Cookbook!

Not too much longer now until it’s National Clay Week 2017! For our final blog countdown, we’re going to go back through what’s happening each day and give some sneak peeks at the great content we have been working on together. Up first, Monday’s Using Handmade project, The Crafted Dish, spearheaded by Carole Epp of Musing About Mud. Sixty two Canadian ceramicists have handed over their favorite recipes, prepared in handmade dishes, alongside the stories behind them and wonderful photographs. The book was juried by Julia and Yolande Krueger, Christopher Reid Flock, and Carole Epp. And yes, there is maple involved.
